This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact the experience our employees and managers have when contacting our newly created myHR experience center. Specialists will interact with other Stryker employees ensuring exceptional service and timely and accurate responses to all inquiries. Don’t worry – we’ll train you on what you need to know! Here’s what’s important for you to know about this role, and the expectations to be successful:
  • Delivering excellent customer service and a positive experience, in response to phone and online inquiries from employees and managers, is required. You will be expected to quickly resolve inquiries by accessing information in multiple HR systems. There will be times you need to triage general inquiries to ensure correct work category is assigned. And there will be times when the issues you are looking at are more complex – then you’ll escalate them (with care) to Tier 2 specialists within myHR (or the appropriate COE for advanced support and follow up as required). This means you will partner with Payroll and other COEs, as appropriate to resolve issues.
  • You will also process transactions by collecting required information or back-up documentation from the employee, manager or HR. It’s a new system and you will need to respond to phone or online help requests on navigating the HR Portal and other HR related systems, guiding employees when needed. All employees should have a great experience when they call and know that we are here to support them in finding answers. It’s important we get this right, so you will perform quality assurance reviews on electronic and manual transactions. We expect high volumes and a fast-paced environment, so you will need to manage your workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).

Since this role supports Stryker employees throughout North America, we are seeking a bi-lingual team member who is fluent in English and Spanish, both in writing and verbally. The Experience Center will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST Monday - Friday, so you need to have availability to work during those hours.

Job Requirements

Requirements include:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years experience.
  • An understanding of human resources policies, procedures, and benefits are preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
Special skills required:
  • A desire to assist others and provide an exceptional experience
  • Previous experience working in a Customer Service or HR environment preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), typing proficiency is required and experience with a case management system and HCM system is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required to work with different levels of business leadership, business users and functional teams.
