Job Description: The Mobile Lab Specialist supports the Surgical Technologies (ST) Medical Education and Marketing teams by planning and executing product trainings, sales events, and Hidden Scar programs on the ST Mobile Experience in alignment with business strategy and objectives.  Will build and maintain relationships with internal teams, cross-divisional partners and customers. Will perform all activities in accordance with Stryker compliance standards, AdvaMed Code, and all national and state regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual schedule for the Mobile Experience and communicate schedule with key stakeholders; adjust schedule as required based on business needs
  • Partner with medical education, sales regional managers, sales reps and cross-divisional partners to plan and execute mobile experience events including, but not limited to specimen orders, catering, equipment orders, logistics planning, and course coverage
  • Manage spend for the Mobile Experience within a given budget; process event invoices in a timely manner and complete mobile lab billings to ST departments and cross-divisional partners
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual reports by providing metrics related to Mobile Experience events (ex: healthcare professionals trained, event types, product exposure)
  • Travel to and support Mobile Experience events across the nation (travel can be outside the parameters of a normal workweek); set-up and tear-down events; interact with customers during events and manage logistics to ensure a successful program
  • Coordinate scheduling, packing, shipment and return of equipment for medical educational events in collaboration with Distribution team and Medical Education colleagues
  • Maintain equipment inventory on the Mobile Experience in alignment with budget and business needs; contribute to annual inventory audits when requested
  • Develop and foster relationships with internal and external customers through professional and timely communication
  • Demonstrate product and clinical knowledge when planning Mobile Experience events and interacting with customers
  • Maintain a current understanding of compliance and transparency regulations and ensure adherence at all events
  • Assist with medical education projects as needed, and identifies ways to improve the Medical Education brand and Mobile Experience events

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years relevant experience required
  • Intermediate understanding of event coordination preferred
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of trade shows, marketing and medical education preferred
  • Proven track record of relationship development and management required
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to lift packages and equipment up to 50lbs
  • Analyze and resolve non-routine issues using independent judgment
  • Preferred experience in a customer facing role; i.e. customer service, sales, account management, previous med device, etc.
