Job Description

Perform P/M (preventive maintenance) works as scheduled.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic failures of systems and process equipment in an effective and timely manner.

Inspect motors, pumps, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance action following checklists.

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist engineers in generation and refinement of SOPs.

Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunction.

Diagnose mechanical and / or electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blue prints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.

Oversee and streamline department P/M program.

Record maintenance and repair work performed into a computerized maintenance system with concise articulation of executed actions/tasks for documentation in regulated environment (GMP, GDP).

Possess adequate understanding of Process Qualification/Validation function and purpose.

Cooperatively work with the mixing master process technician, department representatives, engineers, and any others to improve shift effectiveness, increase productivity, reduce costs and maintain regulatory compliance.

Maintain company policies, safety rules, and keep work area in a clean, hygienic and orderly condition.

Coordinate with the mixing master process technician to respond to system casualties during off-shift hours, weekends, and holidays; must have flexibility to work off-shift hours.
