Job Description: The Medical Education Manager is responsible for developing and managing the customer and sales-facing education offerings within the Sustainability Solutions (SSS) portfolio. This role will provide critical inputs to the Upstream Marketing and Business Development functions to optimize sales success of future acquisitions, collaborations or other value-added programs. The Manager, Education will also be accountable for the sales development curriculum offered by the Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Aligns strategically with Upstream Marketing and Business Development on key downstream inputs to optimize the performance of portfolio additions
  • Partners with downstream marketing and marketing services on commercialization planning
  • Evolves SSS education platform to align with shift to value-based care
  • Creates new offerings to enable greater penetration of the SSS portfolio
  • Partners with Marketing Services and other key functions on strengthening the SSS brand in Divisional focus areas
  • Develops and leads the sales training curriculum for the Division
  • Conducts field “ride-alongs” with SSS sales teams
  • Creates strategic plan for resource and training needed to properly execute our education platform
  • Partners with Upstream Marketing to conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) activities in relation to future portfolio/service offerings
  • Participates in key customer visits to support service and product portfolio
  • Responsible for customer-facing education/service strategy and content development
  • Represents Division as both Medical Education and Sales Training leader
  • Manages the planning and execution of customer-facing programs
  • Directs the efforts of others to develop Marketing collateral in conjunction with the Marketing Services group
  • Aligns with Sales, Marketing, Corporate Accounts, Finance and other key functions on customer offerings
  • Hires and develops talent to execute the Sustainability Solutions’ education programs
  • Manages Division Professional Affairs program, including development of key opinion leader (KOL) network
  • Ensures direct reports are current with applicable and appropriate licensure, certifications, and other relevant competencies
  • Partners with Marketing, Business Development, and Senior Leadership to propose and evaluate new market opportunities
  • Partners with Marketing Services to assist in developing communications strategy for target customer audience
  • Adhere, without exception, to Corporate compliance and ethics policies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2-3+ years management experience
  • 7-10+ years of Marketing, sales or related experience required
  • Strong mentorship and demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Excellent customer service, communication, relationship-building, organizational, and presentation skills
  • High-impact interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a clinical environment
  • Unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment
  • Must be able to set direction and priorities, as well as consistently add value for divisional resources and customers

Travel Percentage: Up to 50%
