Job Description

Owners of Master Data management process for the Orthopaedics Group. Accountable for evaluating master data requests affecting customer, surgeon and territory data, ensuring compliance with sales compensation and sales reporting business strategy as well as ensuring compliance with Finance and SOX standards and policies.

  • Ability to prioritize day to day requests and perform due diligence of workload
  • Responsible for the evaluation, validation, and maintenance of master data tables for customer master, territory master, surgeon master and Sales Rep/Manager tables’ alignments and relationship maintenance.
  • Apply critical thought process to support territory realignment process in a multi-channel and multi-divisional business structure from a system perspective.
  • Utilize third party sources, to evaluate, validate and cleanse master data to ensure system-wide consistency across the divisions.
  • Review Sales Rep/Surgeon corrections and coordinate with Accounts Receivable and field organization to ensure proper sales rep crediting and commission payment.
  • Generate ad hoc system and sales reports utilizing Oracle, Access databases and other BI applications.
  • Work with IT business partners to develop key validation processes which Master Data Specialists apply to maintain system accuracy and eliminate inconsistencies.
  • Develop effective business partnerships with internal and field customers including support and training on the master data management process and documentation.
  • 1-3 years of relevant business experience
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated analytical capability/skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Access)
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ERP system experience (Oracle / SAP) would be bonus
