Job Description: Coordinates and manages sales support through the development and implementation of tools and projects for one or more marketing segments. .

  • Provides support to marketing manager(s) in the development and sales support of one or more marketing segments.
  • Provides direction and leadership in product development, sales promotion, distribution/operations, quality and pricing guidelines.
  • Responsible for taking a leadership role in project management to include: discovery, new product development, and marketing/launch plan creation (i.e. collateral, press releases, in-services videos, web presence, advertisements, and participation in industry trade shows/conferences).
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of partnerships with key industry thought leaders to advance strategic initiatives (i.e. patient, caregiver and organizational health and quality initiatives) A
  • Acts as liaison to and relationship manager for industry consultants such as ECRI.
  • Responsible for the development of strategic planning to include: evaluation of market trends and potential; orders, margin, and unit forecasting; competitive assessment; and gap analysis.
  • Orders forecasting on a monthly basis for use in planning, manufacturing and inventory management. 
  • Helps to coordinate and develop marketing tools, assists with trade shows, literature development, presentations and publicity.
  • Provides sales support to account managers with regard to fact finding, information gathering, assistance in proposal development, customer site visits, customer sales calls, pre-sale trials and post-sale education and product implementation. Also provides assistance in trouble shooting and issue resolution related to quality and customer complaints.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain an up-to-date library of competitive product information. Provide sales force with competitive and technical data on a timely basis.
  • Provide input on new product development. Provide sales training on assigned products as required. Participate in customer visits as requested.
  • Provide exceptional sales support by answering questions and resolving account manager/customer questions.
  • Accountable for all record keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing or related discipline.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years in related marketing/sales position.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including ability to speak effectively in front of large groups of people.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Excellent matrix management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Digital Marketing
