Job Description: The ProCare Product Marketing Manager is the market expert for the Service product portfolio across the Instruments Division in the U.S. They are tasked with understanding trends, competitive landscape, product performance, and customer/ user needs to connect these inputs with existing or future services and solutions. The Product Manager is expected to work in close alignment with Instruments Global Marketing teams to ensure aligned strategies and execution. The ProCare Product Marketing Manager will be accountable for numerous activities including the development of new product offerings, competitive selling strategies, marketing collateral to promote the brand, and pricing strategies. This role will also be accountable for engaging with Global partners to provide guidance on global strategies relating to the ProCare brand and products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and driving the marketing strategy including deep knowledge of the current product offering, call points, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Build a network of sales reps/regional managers/and customers that can be leveraged for project feedback.
  • Conduct primary market research including direct customer visits, blinded phone interviews, online surveys, focus groups, etc.
  • Prepare market estimates, sales forecasts and financial models for early stage opportunities in order to determine prioritization and potential impact of projects.
  • Oversee the coordination of engaging customer feedback sessions with the goal of fully understanding their needs/desires/fears/motives which may include observing operating room procedures.
  • Identify new opportunities in the market by monitoring medical device journals/websites and participating in tradeshows.
  • Determines market entry strategy for product ideas which may include acquisition, licensing, supply agreements, product development.
  • Responsible for the analysis and decision making for the annual strategic planning process.
  • Work with engineers to deliver technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Research and understand market potential, market drivers, and market trends.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and proposes product/technology positioning.
  • May manage a team of marketing professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4+ years relevant experience required.
  • Intermediate understanding of marketing strategy, product launch experience, marketing insights and experience interacting with HCPs preferred.
  • Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
  • Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.
  • Must be able to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records.
  • Must be able to communicate / present to large groups of people.
