Job Description


  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred 

  • At least 8 years of successful experience in medical device industry. Preferably 3-4 years in Stryker NV sales and or marketing

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead projects and execute through others

  • Demonstrated success leading in a team environment

  • International experience required

  • Demonstrated success managing a product line from concept design through product launch

  • Fluent in English, other international/Asian languages skills will be added value


  • Collaborates with Global Marketing, Int’l Business Strategy and Customer Excellence Group as well as Sales Management to develop and manage the execution of education and therapy development programs, for physicians and other health care professionals involved in the use of Company products, in order to accelerate the adoption rates of the new techniques and products which Stryker offers (e.g. to increase the number of patients available to receive our treatment)

  • Partner with country/Global Marketing to develop tools and channel strategy and enhance key opinion leader relationships

  • Build and cultivate Stryker NV AIS KOL relationships throughout the region.  This will be accomplished by Fremont visits, national and local symposium presentations, R&D projects and participation in clinical initiatives.

  • Identify and prepare speakers and topics for professional society meetings/trade shows, which promote Stryker’s products.

  • Independently develop, key business planning activities and ensure accuracy and conformity in budget management

  • Within portfolio, identify new markets and new franchise opportunities

  • Provide regional insight to the upstream projects and launch cadence, for TDP/PDP and advisory board concept, organization, and execution; communicate with Global Marketing, Int’l Business Strategy and Customer Excellence Group counterparts and assist in preparing at business planning team meetings

  • Contribute to setting market development and planning priorities

  • Contribute to franchise global downstream marketing and sales, and suggest means to improve strategy and effectiveness

  • Contribute to understanding key industry dynamics and trends and in formulating strategy and concept messaging techniques

  • Drive sales training program for the AIS franchise portfolio, ensuring best in class new hire training, and providing additional training where required e.g. as well as regional sites training.

  • Network with colleagues in other franchises, other regions and cross-functional departments to accomplish “best in class” business objectives

  • Attends relevant scientific and technical meetings and conferences.

  • Build quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
