Job Overview

Under the direction of the manager, the incumbent assists with the development and is responsible for the implementation of a marketing and sales playbook in alignment with Endoscopy’s strategic direction. In addition, analytics and voice of sales is required to ensure implementation and training are accomplished in the most effective and impactful manner. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Marketing team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.

Responsibilities

Individual Responsibilities:

  • Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation
  • Responsible to live and exemplify Stryker’s Values: Integrity, Accountability, People and Performance.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Collect market intelligence and evaluate trends in assigned market segments to determine competitive threat or competing technologies, review and analyze product line sales trends to insure continued overall profitable growth and marketing position
  • Based on market intelligence build territory play books that outline greatest opportunities in each region.

Conduct & Compliance

  • Abide by and support the policies set forth in the Stryker Code of Conduct
  • Understand that compliance with the Code of Conduct, as it may be amended by Stryker Corporation from time to time, is a condition of continued employment with Stryker
  • Conduct work in compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations and in accordance with Stryker’s high ethical standards
  • Report any violations of these policies and procedures to Stryker management or in the manner outlined in Stryker’s Ethics Hotline Policy

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
  • A fundamental knowledge of marketing
  • Appreciation for the "solution" approach to the sales complex medical equipment
  • A strong comfort level in clinical setting (operating rooms, hospitals, etc.)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to consistently produce accurate, professional work
  • Self-started with the ability to show significant initiative in problem resolutions
  • High energy level with strong people skills and a positive attitude
  • Able to develop good rapport with internal stakeholders and external sales force
  • Strong presentation skills

Education & Qualifications

  • University Degree or current enrolment in a University program. (Preferably in Sciences/Kinesiology, HealthCare and/or Business or Marketing)
  • Previous experience in Marketing or Sales an asset
  • Medical background or experience an asset
  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
