Job Description: This is an entry-level marketing communications position for an individual eager to join a Fortune 500 Medical Device company.  The candidate should possess significant capabilities in digital, social, and creative media.  This individual will work with the marketing team and with leaders ranging from sales management to the marketing director and general manager to ensure communication and asset needs are met for the business unit.

Major duties/responsibilities:

  • Routing of collateral and assets through divisional approval systems
  • Internal employee and salesforce communication
  • Manage monthly deliverables for timing of communications and reports
  • Assisting product marketing team with creation of content and assets according to corporate brand standards and templates
  • Relationship building with peers from other divisions to leverage best practices
  • Maintenance and auditing of divisional and corporate web pages such as Stryker.com for assigned business unit
  • Utilizing market-leading graphic design or content-enriching tools to maximize the impact of customer, internal, and training materials
  • Managing relationships and projects with key external vendors
  • Support for events such as national or mid-year sales meetings
  • Collaboration and scaling of assets for translation/localization with global marketing partners
  • Deep knowledge of products and various customer types to maximize communication format

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 1-2 years experience as intern or other marketing communication experience

  • Self-starter. Should be able to generate original ideas in addition to assigned tasks.
  • Relentlessly high standards regarding grammar, content, timeliness, etc
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong capabilities with social media platforms and creative content software
  • Ability to collaborate with different functional groups
  • Team player with responsive, customer-centric, solution-oriented approach

Working Conditions:

  • Office based
  • Travel 10-20%
