Job Description

Job Description: The Marketing Analyst develops analytics to build business cases and makes data driven decisions. They consolidate, analyze and supply the division with product performance and market information and recommend solutions to address financial and budgetary gaps.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support for internally generated and business development projects.
  • Prepare market estimates, sales forecasts and financial models.
  • Assemble and analyze data pertinent to creating and maintaining financial models.
  • Provide model support to multiple segments of the business, including portfolio, product, marketing services, customer engagement and sales.
  • Evaluate current database correlation and identify insights that will aid in decision making.
  • Analyze and appraise the effectiveness of sales methods, costs and results.
  • Use data to identify and make recommendations for new business opportunities, sales and portfolio expansion.
  • Supports the department with market research services as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; marketing, accounting, finance, economics, supply chain management / operations or information systems preferred.
  • 0 - 2 years of experience with product development, supply chain or data management preferred.
  • Basic understanding of market analytics, product lifecycle management, supply chain planning, product launches and portfolio optimization.
  • Basic understanding of database management software.
  • Knowledge of Windows computer applications required including MS Excel and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
