The job´s mission

The Manager, Regional Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations will play an important role in shaping the TA strategy for Stryker by partnering with regional TA leaders and team members to develop, define and deliver TA process, programs, services, and solutions while driving operational excellence and compliance. You will be responsible for managing candidate care specialists and managing the TA training programs in region while identifying areas for improvement to best meet the needs of candidates, hiring managers, and the TA team so that Stryker can most effectively and efficiently find, attract, and hire the best talent.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the Regional TA Operations team directly overseeing the region’s Candidate Care Specialists
  • Partner with Regional TA Leader and regularly participate in regional leadership meetings to engage with region specific priorities and opportunities.  Represent the global TA Operations team by communicating operations team’s focus and action plans and liaising with appropriate operations team members to provide necessary support for regional priorities.
  • Solve organizational problems through operational solutions in partnership with regional TA teams.
  • Support the development and lead the implementation of regional, scalable TA processes and programs in partnership with TA Operations team incorporating change management activities to ensure successful adoption within the geographic regions
  • Design, implement and continuously improve TA tools, templates and training in partnership with operations team and local TA managers
  • Key contributor of the TA operations team in defining strategy, execution and continuous improvement for a global program (such as Employee Referral, Internal Mobility, etc) or work stream (such as candidate care)
  • Create regional vendor management strategy, manage regional setup and contract management
  • Create and deliver ongoing knowledge-based and capability building training and development for talent acquisition members.
  • Partner with Talent Management & Core HR on design and delivery model for employee, Hiring Manager or HR trainings relevant to TA
  • Support newly acquired businesses in adoption of Stryker’s TA model.  Provide training and direction as needed to bring new business up to speed.
  • Facilitate communication and change management of operational projects for regional team
  • Lead process improvement efforts locally and globally utilizing the plan, do, check, act continuous improvement cycle
  • Assess and identify opportunities in the talent acquisition processes and tools to simplify the talent acquisition, hiring manager, and candidate experiences that lead to more efficient and effective recruiting, screening, and selection process while ensuring data integrity, reporting, and compliance with legal and client requirements
  • Partner with TA leadership and TA Innovation lead to define, enhance, and track TA dashboards to deliver results. Monitor metrics and leverage data analytics to identify opportunities, determine root cause, drive prioritization, and make decisions.
  • Drive compliance with local government regulations and data integrity of ATS system through accountability, process design, training and technology

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5+ years of recruiting, HR or other relevant experience
  • 2+ years leading others preferred
  • Must be able to travel 25% of time.
  • Must be fluent in English and ideally another European language (ideally German, Spanish, French)
