Job Description

As the Manager – Systems, Indirect Procurement you ensure Buying Portal usability and business needs are continually met. Stryker is implementing Coupa as our Buying Portal and in this role you will help / support the implementation of the new system.

You support sustaining “Buying Portal” activities: ​​

  • Coordinate Coupa User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new release configuration
  • Provide input to Coupa regarding their development plan for added functionality
  • Review new Coupa release notes
  • Understand capabilities of new Coupa releases
  • Work to determine how new Coupa release functionality can benefit the business
  • Work with help desk to troubleshoot and answer business related portal questions
  • Resolve business related questions
  • Work with Stryker training team on incorporating new functionality or business processes
  • Coordinate and maintain portal linkages with other Stryker content

Partner with Stryker GIS Admin to:

  • Provide Coupa Admin reports, e.g. Dashboard/Procurement Benchmarking; indicators of adoption
  • Troubleshoot activity errors, e.g. Workflow Approvals
  • Configure new release capabilities for Stryker based on business input
  • Creation and maintenance of custom fields/creative procurement solutions for Stryker

Lead Supplier Content Enablement for EEMEA Region user content:

  • Evaluate/approve new suppliers and determine buying and invoicing channels
  • Work with suppliers and Accounts Payable team to enable e-Invoicing for suppliers
  • Upload and maintain Stryker hosted catalogs
  • Coordinate and maintain buyer portal content including policies and announcements
  • Manage Stryker adoption through communication
  • Communicate and train suppliers on Coupa
  • Enable and maintain Coupa contracts

Identify/drive process improvement opportunities, and support ad-hoc projects as required

Ensure clear communication between stakeholders, and deliver commitments on time and as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent)
  • At least 3 year experience working with procurement systems
  • Indirect or direct purchasing and/or production planning experience
  • 5+ years of experience in procure to pay processes, other business/finance/IT processes or project management roles.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management capability and experience.
  • preferred.
  • MRP proficiency, Purchasing system/procedures, Supplier Management.
