Job Description

Position Summary

Plans and manages business intelligence activities supporting sales leadership.  Primary responsibilities will be supporting the Neurosurgical Strategic Sales team and the Neurosurgical Sales leadership team.


  • Maintain business intelligence structure and environment that will enhance Strategic Sales strategies
  • Annual data mining (Procedures, new alignment impacts)
  • Responsible for key business data/analytics to improve strategies and sales process.
  • Create dashboards & reports that provide critical and timely access to our data
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Participate in special projects and teams to drive business objectives, best practices and process standardization.
  • Influence CRM and Sales technology strategy to scale with future growth.
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing current market pricing trends.
  • Network & partner with multi-divisional commercial teams
  • Liaise with HCS on data analytics tools.
  • Responsible for creating and managing various sales reports for NS Sales Leadership.
  • Responsible for inter-departmental compliance with company policies and corrective actions.
  • Has the independence and authority to perform required tasks to ensure all provisions of the quality system are met.


  • B.B.A. or B.S., preferred in business or related discipline.
  • MBA desired
  • 8 years of experience
  • 5+ years experience in Sales/Business Operations preferred.
  • 5 + years commercial managerial experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
  • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management team
  • Experience in supporting sales organizations, processes and strategy.
  • Technical systems experience with SAP, PowerBI, and related sales and marketing tools is desired.
  • Effective communicator; comfortable and experienced at multiple levels. 

Physical Requirements

  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Must be able to communicate with large groups of people
  • Must be able to communicate telephonically
  • Must be able to use common office equipment (e.g. fax, modem, calculator, PC, etc.)
  • Up to 30% overnight travel annually
  • Must be able to drive an automobile

  • Able to develop and explain detailed proposals, guidelines and procedures.
  • Able to analyze and resolve complex issues using independent judgment.
  • Able to routinely make decision which may affect immediate operation and have a company- wide impact.

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
