The Role:

As the Procurement Manager you will be leading indirect procurement activities for Stryker South Pacific (SSP) driving and optimizing performance to enable margin expansion for the market.

What You Will Do:

As the Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Represent Stryker South Pacific (SSP) at the Indirect Procurement team level, coordinating with SSP/APAC finance to provide project status updates, including cost savings performance/projections.
  • Develop and implement sourcing processes and tools in conjunction with the Indirect Procurement to standardize, streamline and digitize the Source to Pay process.
  • Partner with Finance leaders to develop/provide reporting and awareness on Indirect Spend metrics (such as Indirect Spend % to Sales metrics), as well as category spending reports to help improve decision making and better manage demand (e.g. business travel/meeting reports)
  • Collaborate with the SSP Leadership team to drive strategy and policies that optimize indirect supplier spend/performance.

What You Will Need:

  • Excellent communication skills to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead a team to both develop and drive strategy to optimize results 
  • Strong understanding of procurement/strategic commodity management 
  • 3+ years of experience in managing, leading, and developing sourcing/ procurement teams
  • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Mgt, Engineering, Finance or equivalent)
