Essential duties & responsibilities:

Critical CDGO Business Functions:

  • Represent the Stryker Customer Data Governance Office as needed up to and including interaction, education and change management efforts with divisional and IT leadership
  • Serve as key member of all project teams related to HCS/Global I.T. platform and technology advancement (including ERP and revenue management system implementations)
  • Source, hire, train and lead the Customer Master Data team for Stryker. (8+ direct reports)
  • Source, hire, train and lead the Empower and Model N data conversion and cleansing team, hosted by HCS for the Endo and Instruments projects. (10+ contractors)
  • Develop organizational structure for the CDGO team within the context of Stryker’s broader MDO structure
  • Secure division support and resourcing for division-based activities cleansing and matching accounts to include business case support and negotiation of appropriate resources.
  • Develop, publish and report on progress to project timeline and deliverables
  • Present to various divisional stakeholders to ensure collaboration and support


  • 8-10 total years of industry experience in customer service, operations, IT or supply chain with historical success working cross-divisionally and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated performance in management positions
  • Management experience in a multi-divisional or global business unit structure preferred

Role specific qualifications

  • Exceptional people management skills, with a focus and passion for developing a high performing team.
  • Experience with master data governance in a business environment; medical manufacturing/healthcare industry preferred
  • Large scale ERP (SAP/J.D. Edwards/Oracle) knowledge
  • Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative
  • Highly motivated and driven by performance-based culture
  • Exceptional attention to detail, adaptability to changing requests, and service ethic relating to all internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work effectively across a matrix and influence without authority
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone and with large groups
  • Must be able to generate and explain detailed contract documents
  • Must be able to analyze large amounts of data and condense into actionable decision support
  • Must be able to filter out unproductive requests and maintain a key priority list of major projects
