What you will do

-Establish corporate brand positioning of Stryker Japan, both externally and internally

-Protect and enhance the Company reputation and contribute to continuous business growth through communication

-Take an initiative in media relations including press release, media interview and media event

-Deliver communications that will build Stryker’s competitive advantage, position and market share

-Manage owned media communication strategy and enhance the Company’s digital communication capabilities

-Build relationships with key stakeholders, mainly media and marketing/ business leaders

-Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures

-Manage crises and issues communication by collaborating with the supervisor

-Manage external partners and agencies effectively

What you need

- Bachelor's degree required, healthcare or communication related major is plus
- 8-10 years’ experience in communications and branding
- Healthcare, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and IT/ Digital Device industry experience is preferred,

including experience in PR agency working with the industry client
- Knowledge of media (traditional and digital), brand and corporate communications and issue management
- Experience in working in diverse, multi-national environment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Fluency in English
