Job Description

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Continuously fully comply with all Quality System regulatory requirements as established by FDA, ISO, or any other applicable regulatory body.
  • Continuously comply with all regulatory related requirements including the import and export of all products.
  • Responsible to stop further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming product condition.
  • Responsible to develop and maintain the capacity models for the Site’s work centres for short, mid and long-term management.
  • Responsible to guide and manage capacity utilization efforts for the Site,
  • Responsible to manage the Master data for constraints at family level, and manage phase out and EOL.
  • Accountable of data integrity in the existing systems (Oracle, AS40 and SAP).
  • Leads the creation of clear project plans with timing, milestones and resources to execute within a given brief from within the supply planning function and where it interfaces cross functionally.
  • Responsible to highlight to management progress and escalate where required projects that are behind in performance and propose mitigating actions.
  • Manages cross functional boundaries and work with multi-disciplinary teams in supporting specific projects to a close and to the quality standards needed.
  • Responsible of assessing business impact based on the original objectives set by the team or leader.
  • Work with other project managers and learn best practice process and controls in project management and therefore setting a clear standard for Stryker in driving best practice project management.
  • Responsible to work with financials or resource budgets as allocated when developing and executing a project within the franchise.
  • Responsible for running risk assessments and level of change required within a given project and to be responsible for identifying and mitigating issues regarding people change management.
  • Responsible for the planning of all logistics and review cycle for the project and to record the agreed actions, impacts to senior management.
  • Manages basic specific plant or under direction franchise specific projects within the context of an overall program direction or scope
  • Manages KPIs for the role or function, such as: Capacity Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Heath, Capacity Utilization, Back order and Lead time levels and plant operational cost targets, On time milestones for the projects

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • May supervise directly or indirectly a cross-functional team.
  • Sets overall group goals and priorities and evaluates performance against the goals and priorities as part of project management responsibilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sedentary work:  Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, etc.  Generally involves sitting most of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate with large groups of people.
  • Must be able to review printed materials.
  • Ability to operate common office equipment (e.g. calculator, computer terminal, fax machine, etc.).

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to generate and explain detailed proposals, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine issues using independent judgment.
  • Must be able to routinely make decisions which affect immediate operations and may have a company-wide effect.
  • Ability to prioritize work and keep detail, accurate and confidential information and records.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fully Bilingual
  • Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
  • Demonstrate financial acumen
  • Able to make effective presentations to diverse groups
  • Ability to lead teams through process improvements
  • Change management, experienced developing a team or function
  • Project Management skills
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, excel /PPT and knowledge of Microsoft project

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years in a content role of either supply/manufacturing/engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and influencing multi-functional groups to attain project objectives

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management
  • APICS accredited or professional supply chain accreditation preferred
  • Program Management certifications preferred
