Job Description

Position Summary: Under close to general supervision in the rotor work cell to operate grinding machinery, operate the balancer, build a variety of assemblies and be able to inspect the various components using precision measuring equipment while keeping production records and maintenance logs.   Position Responsibilities: 1. Perform repetitive to frequent tasks using standard procedures and various conventional and/or manual machine tools. 2. May work from engineering drawings and/or specifications. 3. Will be required to comply with documentation and/or record keeping procedures. 4. Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications. 5. Perform minor offset adjustments to keep components within engineering specifications. 6. Train others on operational and/or documentation procedures. 7. General assembly skills.,Position Requirements (Education, Special Training, Certifications):  High school diploma.  Blueprint reading.  Effective interpersonal communication skills.  Intermediate math skills.  Demonstrated machining and mechanical aptitude.  Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.), power tools and common measuring equipment.
