Job Description
This is a 3rd shift position:
Under general supervision operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs.
• Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes.
• Ability to recognize and troubleshoot quality concerns with product and/or inspection equipment
• Use complex precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications.
• Ability to recognize and train others on identifying cosmetic defects.
• Familiar with machine set-ups and inspection equipment.
• Experience working with various manufacturing practices.
• Ability to read part prints.
• Intermediate math skills.
• Aptitude to learn new responsibilities and tasks.
• Will train others on operational and/or documentation procedures.
• Qualified to work in multiple manufacturing work centers.
• Ability to operate multiple, simple to advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to use sound independent judgement.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet performance standards.
• Will be expected to train and develop others in role.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors.
• Align and follow activities with company initiatives.
• Initiate collaboration across shifts and work areas to identify problems and solutions.
• Lead or participate in the execution efforts of continuous improvements projects.

Education & Experience
High school Diploma or equivalent
5+ years related manufacturing, machining or processing experience.
Physical/Safety Requirements
Medium work:
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• The ability to work with and/or machine small component parts.
• Must have good visual acuity and demonstrate fine motor skills/ability.
• Ability to operate small hand tools (ie: pilers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.) power tools, and common measuring equipment.
• Perform repetitive to frequent tasks using standard procedures and various conventions and/or manual machine tools.
Mental:
• Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, etc).
• Must be able to follow and explain detailed instructions and inspection procedures.
• Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately.
• Ability to analyze and correct routine issues using standard procedures.
