Job Description
This is a 3rd shift position:
Under moderate supervision operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs.
• Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes.
• Understand and use independent judgement regarding dimensional tolerances.
• Will have exposure to multiple types of inspection equipment.
• Can recognize, understand, and communicate an adverse trend.
• Visually inspect for cosmetic defects.
• Understand and execute basic operations and tasks.
• Basic reading of part prints.
• Basic math skills.
• Follow directions both written and oral.
• Demonstrate machining aptitude.
• Ability to use sound independent judgement.
• Aptitude to learn new responsibilities and tasks.
• May train others on operational and/or documentation procedures.
• Working knowledge of multiple manufacturing work centers.
• Operate simple to intermediate manufacturing equipment.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors.
• Align and follow activities with company initiatives.
• Assist execution of continuous improvement projects.
• Initiate collaboration in your immediate area to identify problems and solutions.
• Report business or behavioral concerns timely and appropriately.
• Effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker.
• Listen and act appropriately regarding constructive feedback.
• Ask questions and seek direction from leaders, trainers, and peers.
• Respond and share concerns with change appropriately.
