Your key responsibilities

  • As a part of the European and Asia Quality Operations- and Plant leadership team, you are responsible for all quality related activities at our plant in Schönkirchen/Kiel and act as the Management Representative.

  • You lead a team of a multiple high performing quality individuals across disciplines that provides technical guidance/direction to the manufacturing and other functional areas.

  • You develop and implement quality standards, quality assurance strategies and regulations. Furthermore, you ensure and execute compliance on every stage of the process.

  • Besides, you take responsibility for all quality control aspects of the process (laboratories studies, operations, raw materials, production, finished product)

  • In your role you strongly collaborate with business partners within Stryker to define expected quality standards and the role and responsibilities in the maintenance of these standards.

  • You ensure that the organization’s conformance and commitment to producing products meets or exceeds customer requirements and the relevant regulatory standards.

  • You are responsible for establishing a state of “audit readiness” and support successful regulatory audits and inspections.

What are we looking for?

  • You have a degree in Engineering, Science discipline or equivalent.

  • You have at least 8 to 10 years of professional and leadership experience in a regulated industry (Medtech, Pharma, Food or Aerospace) working in Quality. Experience in a regulated environment is mandatory!

  • You have a profound knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards and regulations with experiences of managing inspections/audits by international authorities.

  • You are characterized by a high level of communication skills, strategic thinking, analytical and negotiation skills as well as extensive interface competencies.

  • You have a strong leadership ability to develop your team members individually.

  • You have a willingness to travel regularly.

  • Your excellent English and German language skills enable you to collaborate with stakeholders on a global basis.
