Job Description


•   Build and foster relationships with Flex Financial business users, stakeholders and partners; Understand their roles, key drivers for success; Maintain awareness of their perception of our solutions and key pain points through regular meetings, talks, or other appropriate means; These expectations extend from individuals / users to management and senior management.


•   Partner closely with Stryker IS resources to follow process and documentation requirements, release management framework and IS Compliance requirements to deliver solutions for Flex Financial.


•   Effectively communicate plans, updates, risks, project progress, concerns and results, across Flex Financial and IS to influence service outcomes and steer towards enterprise objectives.


•   Build consensus by influencing others to drive progress and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.


•   Identify business opportunities, create and present business case that justifies how IS services will meet strategic business objectives and outcomes.


•   Elicit and document clear, easy to understand requirements from users, include both the explicit and implicit inputs; Search out un-articulated needs and define requirements that anticipate them; Avoid surprise / late-breaking requirements.


•   Incorporate and account for dependencies in requirements definition that may stem from business processes or other IS systems.


•   Proactively guide the business towards optimal solutions; Challenge the status quo; Within the solution, as appropriate, identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign or development of new processes.


•   Takes customer requirements into account when making proposals.  Analyses requirements and advises on scope and options for continuous operational improvement. Demonstrates creativity and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the client/stakeholder.


•   Build expertise in the business area related to the requirements and solution definition; research material and engage relevant people to develop that knowledge to a credible level; understand the business processes involved and key drivers for success.


•   Maintain expertise in the data involved for the solution, including the definitions, source(s), related business processes and downstream system usage.


•   Ensure documentation that is relevant to the service is created and maintained in a meaningful and accessible manner.  This includes system documentation, business SOP’s as it relates to SFDC & Oracle, requirements and test scripts, knowledge articles, and configuration and organizational information, emergency contacts / call lists, etc.


•   Ensure requirements and test scripts are clearly documented in clear, meaningful language, well organized for continuous maintenance for the life of the service, and accessible by relevant support resources.


•   Ensure source code and other solution artifacts are stored in a versioned repository.


•   Ensure design and code reviews are executed to confirm adherence to quality standards.


•   Ensure due consideration is given to implement automated build, deployment, and test activities.  Where automation is not tenable, ensure justification is documented with any plans and timelines to remediate.


•   Identify risks to delivery, elevate with the appropriate urgency; provide proposals for how to mitigate; Avoid issues that arise without prior recognition and communication of the risk.



Skills/Experience Required

•    Proficient in complex IT systems, at least 7 years of ERP or CRM experience (Oracle, SAP, SalesForce)
•    CRM / Salesforce.com Admin Certification preferred 
•    Willingness to dedicate whatever time is necessary to learn business processes/applications which he/she may be less proficient in (as necessary).
•    Ability to direct and recommend cost-effective creative solutions.
•    Commitment to excellence and high standards.
•    Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
•    Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
•    Creative, flexible, innovative, collaborative team player.
 

Education/training Required

•    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required; Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study preferred.  
•    ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred
