What You Will Do

  • Responsible for setting the correct set up of standard cost on the annual roll up process
  • Responsible for monitoring monthly and YTD actual costs and coordinate the necessary changes with the operations teams on BOM and Routing changes.
  • Prepares the annual budget and monthly forecast for the assigned franchise
  • Coordinate the budget and finance forecasts with operations managers, to make recommendations on the financial performance of the site
  • Helps drive and keep track of the Cost reduction initiatives for the site to meet budget targets
  • Load & Analyze financial metrics in the HFM and other corporate systems
  • Monitor productivity and other improvements projects (adherence and results)
  • Collaborate to ensure a strong internal control and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for all plant reporting on performance metrics and follow up on action items
  • Month-end close process for cost accounting.
  • Balance sheet accruals and corresponding monthly account reconciliations
  • Coordinates annual physical inventory from the finance perspective on the assigned franchise.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Capital spend requests, submission, and detailed ROI calculation
  • Calculates monthly depreciation of fixed assets.
  • Other Ad-Hoc reporting as needed for the plant management
  • Provide functional support including system configurations related processes: General Accounting, A/R, A/P, invoicing & Tax

What You Will Need

  • B.S. in Accountant is required;
  • Continued tax trainings certificates;
  • Experience in FP&A or Cost accounting positions;
  • Knowledge in accountant system – Contpaqi and AS400 preferred;
  • Knowledge in SAP;
  • Excellent PC Skills (Excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
