  • Responsible for timely project deliverables of multiple development projects, in accordance with project requirements and per development standards

  • Assist in the solution designing and ensure execution of project per SDLC methodologies

  • Review technical specifications from Tech Lead/Business Analysts for feasibility and architectural “fit”

  • Divide feature requests into granular tasks and provide task time estimates

  • Identify new technologies, components, and development techniques to increase development efficiency

  • Utilize source control policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of development efforts

  • Author technical documentation and specifications from requirements/functional specifications

  • Follow Stryker IS procedures, policies, standards, appropriate regulatory requirements, and data privacy guidelines

  • Participate in technical reviews and meetings as required

  • Resolve escalated technical issues as needed

  • Provide necessary support in troubleshooting code related issues

  • Ensure custom code and interfaces have necessary controls built in to support Stryker IS standards, data privacy, and other regulatory requirements as appropriate

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and develop timely solutions, providing excellent customer support and service

  • Utilize Java technologies including JSP, JMS, XML, Soap, JDBC, WebJects, etc. for application development

  • Utilize operating system administration skills including Tomcat and Apache support

  • Create test plans and scenarios for development unit testing

  • Strong work ethics, flexibility, proven attention to details and quality

  • Strong debugging/diagnostic and analytical skills.

  • Strong team and collaborative working across geography.

  • Highly motivated and willing to work in a rapidly evolving environment.



Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems (or equivalent) from a recognized university/institute Minimum of 3 years of Windchill PLM development experience.  


  • Hands on experience on any migration tool (like Windchill Bulk Migrator), Data Transformation & Migration.

  • Hands on experience working on Windchill 9.1, 10.x & 11.x Versions.

  • Hands on Expertise with Windchill Server Rehosting, database configuration, Data Model, Windchill API’s.

  • Hands on Experience in Info* Engine, Webjects, Tasks Configuration & Customization.

  • Hands on experience in J2EE skills: JAVA, J2EE, JSP, JMS, Soap, JDBC, Webject, Servlets, Struts, JDBC, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Design Patterns in Java, Exposure on one of the application servers, XML, HTML, CSS. Hands on experience on server scripting including WSLT, ANT, PERL, SHELL, Eclipse IDE

  • Hands on experience on working of Change Management and Workflow in Windchill and other major modules.

  • Extensive experience of Windchill PDMLink, Project Link customization (server side and UI side).

  • Good understanding of Windchill functionalities

  • Hands on experience for Info Engine (Windchill), web services and integrations options with other applications like ERP, LMS, MES.

  • Very strong at presenting ideas and concepts and influence people to action.

  • Experience with end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Sun/Oracle Java certification preferred
