Job Description

Our ideal Sr. Business Analyst will partner with IS and business leaders in defining and developing solutions that meet specific strategic imperatives of our Medical division. This person will think “big picture” to help develop project plans.  This individual must develop deep understanding of IS and Divisional roadmaps to align demand/needs to technologies and programs. You will work with our team to formulate strategies that will drive operational efficiencies, enable new opportunities and innovation for our business partners.
 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide extraordinary customer support with passionate commitment to the client.
  • Interpret customer business needs and translate them into clear and testable requirements which describe a system which will be implemented.
  • Drive communication between business stakeholders and IS technical teams.
  • Ability to develop efficient and effective analytic methodologies and approaches to generate value and address a broad range of operational and performance issues.
  • Ability to execute analysis in a timely, accurate and reliable manner, communicate findings clearly and concisely to diverse business leaders, key contributors and stakeholders.
  • Recommend business process and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes in alignment with Divisional and IS roadmaps.
  • This person must be able to effectively present/communicate ideas and strategies to groups within the business functions.
  • Adapt to changing technology and understand how emerging technologies can be incorporated into business.
  • Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments.
  • Must be self-motivating, self-challenging and self-directed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion.
  • Must be able agile to handle changes in fast-paced environment.
  • Must be well-organized, extremely detail oriented, and capable of handling diverse situations and conflicting priorities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer information systems or related field required.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional Business Analysis experience or related experience.
  • Experience working with high level business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying on command and control.
  • Experience with process mapping, user stories, and/or journeys.
  • Experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format.
  • Experience understanding, evaluating, and recommending changes to business processes.
  • Expertise of Agile Development methodologies.
  • Experience developing strategic business process methodologies to drive collaboration and business results.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cross-divisional business needs and working strategically with multiple facets of a global business.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience working is a marketing, digital, strategy or management consulting practice.
  • Experience working in an agency-regulated environment.
  • Experience with formal Project methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Oracle CPQ, Callidus, SAP (OTC), or Model N.
  • Knowledge of medical device and/or life sciences industry and basic knowledge of adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products and IS requirements.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools and reporting required (PowerBI).
