What You Will Do

The Team Member, Scheduler position will be responsible for performing a critical coordinator role as part of centralized regional loaner program for Stryker Spine at our Plainview Long Island facility.

Responsibilities include order entry, inventory allocation, case scheduling as well as shipment track and trace. Role interacts with multiple groups (both internal & external) to ensure maximum customer service levels are achieved. ​

  • Schedule orders that maximize fill rates and productivity, minimize thru-put time, and focus on increasing inventory turns

  • Provide shipment confirmation and follow-up on shipping status of regional loaners orders using strong knowledge of carrier order track & trace tools

  • Collaborate with customers, operations, and supply chain management to appropriately manage inventory levels and minimize obsolescence

  • Utilize customer service skills, including the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with field-based customers via telephone and e-mail to continuously drive customer satisfaction

  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and follow-up actions

  • Support distribution network strategies that focus on cost reduction

  • Contribute to cost reduction program by making viable business recommendations and process improvement ideas

  • Ensure accuracy, verification and processing of all documentation and system transactions associated with all inventory movements through ERP and scheduling systems

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills are essential

  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of company products, ability to be organized, detailed, process and goal oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently, but also as a team player is necessary

  • Ability to read, write and understand detailed work instructions and Good Manufacturing Processes

  • Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
