What you will do

  • Demand Planning is responsible for providing a sales forecast that helps drive financial projections, inventory planning, and strategic decision making.  
  • The Intern Student, together with their Stryker Manager, as a member of the Demand Planning Team & Commercial Analytics organization will be responsible for:
  • Provide analysis on demand trends to cross functional partners
  • The role will interface with and support all areas of the business - Demand Planning, Supply Planning, IBP management, Marketing, and Analytics process excellence to drive efficiencies that result in key productivity improvements. 
  • Support general documentation updates as needed.
  • Provide analytics and problem-solving capabilities as required

What you need

  • Working on Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Experience with excel. Bonus if you have experience with other reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.. Basic data modeling and fundamental core database concepts.
  • Effective presentation, written, verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings.
  • • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring

    • Must be permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

    • Ability to exercise independent judgment

    • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    • Proven leadership and business acumen skills

    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

    • Strong interpersonal skills

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
