Opportunities Available​

The Commercial Analytics Intern will join the Business Intelligence and Sales Analytics team where they will support the execution of projects to enhance data analysis and reporting across the Endoscopy business.  This position will be responsible for developing new dashboards & reports that will help the business make informed, data-driven decisions, as well as provide the training necessary to support the business in using these tools. 

This position will also support the process of taking a preliminary data project and converting it into an application that is both professional and automated.  This may include but is not limited to optimizing and/or creating new data models, creating new BI reports, optimizing report interaction & navigation, running feedback sessions, developing apps for users to enter new data, and automating the data collection and reporting processes.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence & Sales Analytics teams to develop new analytic tools

  • Translate analytical content into reports, trainings, and dashboards for the relevant segments of the business

  • Develop and deliver trainings on how to use data-driven tools to improve the business

  • Develop basic dashboards and reports within Power BI to provide self-serve data analysis tools for the business.

  • Develop basic applications using Power Apps that the business can use to change existing data sources

  • Utilize Power Automate to streamline the data ingestion and reporting process

  • Act as a role model to the department and organization through your work ethic, integrity, and team approach.

What You Need​

• Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer​

• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring​

• Must be permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen​

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills​

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow​

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm​

• Ability to exercise independent judgment​

• Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint​

• Proven leadership and business acumen skills​

• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines​

• Strong interpersonal skills

  • Passionate to use data to answer business questions

  • Comfortable with interpreting & communicating analytical content

  • Experience with Excel preferred

  • Willingness to learn how to use business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to influence and interact with cross-functional team members

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow in a rapidly changing environment

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
