Job Description

PROJECT ROLE ONLY

Essential duties

The R2R Intercompany lead is focused on improving the function’s design as well as driving process improvements, especially by integrating technology and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) into the business. This role is responsible for exploring SAP modifications, ARIBA, and other potential RPA technologies:


  • Review the performance of current Intercompany processes and technologies and identify key gaps and deficiencies in the process
  • Design the new process model for intercompany function and socialize with key stakeholders from various Stryker internal businesses / departments
  • Explore different functionalities / tools within SAP such as the enabler role and the ARIBA platform, as well as other technologies and RPA possibilities
  • Manage intercompany disagreements and disputes related to the new policies by reviewing supporting documentation and determining correcting action

This role could potentially move towards a global intercompany lead role by demonstrating thorough end-to-end understanding of the intercompany processes. This role could also drive process automations and improvements in other initiatives across the Finance One project:


  • Set guiding policies around intercompany processes globally as well as oversee the proper adherence to these policies across the Stryker organization
  • Review workings of new and improved policies and make amendments whenever necessary
  • Leverage process automation experience in Intercompany to integrate other functions with RPA and process improvement technologies

Education

  • Master’s degree in Finance /Business related subjects
  • An accounting qualification (e.g. CPA or CMA) is preferred

Qualifications & experience:


  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
  • Fluency in English required
  • Other language is a plus
  • Oracle or SAP systems and HFM knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong ability to coordinate action across dispersed workforce
  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
  • Demonstration of effective leadership, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills necessary to interact and influence senior management in both Finance and the business
  • Ability to create a highly energized environment of exceptional performance, shared accountability, and personnel excellence, with a commitment to coaching and developing others into leadership roles
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • ERP technology experience an advantage, including ERP implementations
