The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager will act as a key liaison between the Stryker Selling divisions and the Global Operations plant network. This individual will be an integral part of Stryker Integrated Business Planning process and will ensure that high levels of service and quality are achieved for internal and external customers globally. This position will report to the Global Operations organization but will be key member in the strategic planning process at Stryker selling divisions.

Specific responsibilities of the IBP Manager include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Prepares content and leads monthly Integrated Business Planning Meetings to drive consensus on plans with stakeholders from the Division and Global Quality and Operations
  • Relationship development and management with key individuals and decision makers at Stryker selling divisions and the Global Operations plant network
  • Co-ordinate supply and demand planning between Stryker selling divisions and the Global Operations Plant network. This will involve analyzing forecasts from the demand planning teams at Stryker selling divisions with the Global Operations plant network to enable effective capacity planning in the plant network
  • The individual should also have the ability to consolidate and achieve consensus where necessary between different groups and individuals
  • Manage the development, roll-up and communication of global demand plan and inventory management activities by balancing interests of multiple selling divisions and functional teams
  • Proactively conduct account reviews with all assigned selling divisions on a regular basis to review service needs and usage trends. This will involve presenting on key metrics to divisional stakeholders to evaluate performance against goals and objectives of selling divisions
  • Key participant in the executive IBP meetings at Stryker selling divisions
  • Recommend improvements and implement recommendations for improvements to the extended supply chain process in order to gain efficiencies in both Stryker’s processes and the customer’s processes
  • Responsible for budget estimation, approvals via the CER and/ or budget process, budget monitoring, and budget attainment

Job Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations or Finance is required. An MBA or a Master’s in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management is highly preferred. Hands on working experience with demand/inventory planning in manufacturing environment is required.

Ideal candidates will also possess the following skills/experiences:
  • 5+ years of business experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning or Sales & Operations Planning
  • Must have knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues; prior experience with demand planning tools like Oracle Demantra is a plus
  • Must have understanding of end to end supply chain interactions and interdependencies, APICS certification is preferred
  • Prior experience in managing by influence across multiple teams/groups across an organization is required
  • Background in process improvements, product launches, production/demand planning is required
  • Experience working with plants and divisions located globally is required
  • Lean Manufacturing, Process Excellence/Six Sigma training and/or certification experience is preferred
