Job Description

"Under little to no supervision uses Ziehm Vision RFD 3D C-Arm to produce highest quality images for potential customers.   Functions as an integral part of the surgical navigation team in an operating room setting for clinical trials. Operates equipment for mobile and fixed lab demonstrations. Applies knowledge of radiation protection to assure safety of those in vicinity of the C-Arm during radiation exposures. Provides technologist training as needed. Position is under the direction of the Imaging Care Manager but requires daily interaction with various Stryker sales and marketing personnel. Responsibilities:

  • Provides surgeons and operating room staff with training and clinical/technical support in the operation of the Ziehm RFD 3D Vision C-Arm to ensure procedural efficiency.
  • Train hospital radiology personnel in the use of the Ziehm RFD 3D Vision C-Arm.
  • Partner with other cross-functional teams and divisions in selling clinical benefits of the company’s products to drive continuous account growth and case volume.
  • Solve imaging problems for customers in an expeditious manner.
  • Provides case coverage at accounts, attends tradeshows, mobile labs, and workshops.
  • Actively sell the clinical benefits of the products and build strong positive relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts.
  • Support the conversion of competitive doctors to use Stryker Navigation products.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to increase communication around product performance.
  • Complies with all regulatory requirements including licensing, certification and other mandatory training.
  • Demonstrates features, benefits, and advantages of this C-Arm in hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, mobile labs and other end-user locations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of equipment by adjusting exposure factors for patients of different sizes and for various imaging procedures.
  • Perform imaging examinations quickly and accurately in a sterile environment while maintaining the integrity of the sterile field and adhering to all site policy and procedures.
  • Utilize independent judgment and in-depth knowledge of the Ziehm Vision RFD 3D to perform related clinical procedures. Possess knowledge of competitive C-Arm products and features to support sales growth.
  • Complete continuing education to maintain appropriate licensures.
  • Obtain necessary state licensures to comply with individual state requirements as assigned.
     

Education and Special Training:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or 3-4 years of Surgical RT experience required.
  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required. Additional state licensures preferred.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.


Qualifications/Work Experience Preferred:

  • Advanced computer and appropriate application skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.)
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong commitment to customer service


Mental and Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to resolve complex testing and/or equipment issues using independent judgment.
  • Must have high work standards and attention to detail.
  • Must be comfortable using independent judgment to analyze and resolve customer support issues.
  • Must be able to generate, follow and explain detailed instruction and inspection procedures.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and accurate records of any service issues.
  • Must be able to work under mentally challenging and stressful conditions with autonomy.
  • Must be able to read, understand and explain detailed technical information
  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Must be able to maneuver pelican cases and shipment crates for C-Arm and monitor.
  • Must be able to work standing for long periods of time and sometimes in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to work under confines of personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able and willing to travel on short notice.
