Your mission is to:

  • Ensure accurate, reliable and on-time delivery of the administrative and other HR Specialist support services needed in our changing and demanding business environment.
  • Support the leaders and employees in the Nordics to ensure a thorough and correct payroll process where continuous improvement is the lead star, administration, recruitment support when needed, coordination of daily HR operation and Workday management in cooperation with managers, HR Ops, local HR and other stakeholders. 
  • Monitor, take action and make proposals to needed changes regarding pensions in all countries in the Nordic as well as insurances related to HR, making sure pensions and insurances always are the best, competitive, economical and up to date with local law.
  • Assist the Nordic HR Manager in all administrative and coordination matters, thereby assuring the interfaces within Stryker Nordics and Stryker Europe is aligned, approved by and up to date regarding pensions, insurances and payroll.

Next to this you will also:

  • Be responsible for Payroll administration and relationship with the payroll provider for Sweden and Norway
  • Drive payroll projects to ensure quality and improvement
  • Be our Nordic specialist in the area of pensions and insurances for all Nordic countries driving continuous improvement projects and making sure we follow local law and market attractiveness/retention as part of Employer branding
  • Liaise with the Finance department (including budgets and projection activities)
  • Gain efficiencies through standardization of HR processing and administrative services together with MYHR, the local HR team and IT
  • Ensure that all process narratives are maintained and up to date for HR related processes
  • Build partnerships with managers to ensure that HR resources are effectively delivered, trained and understood to each group
  • Lead audits such as tax audits and other HR related audits within Stryker
  • Lead by example in the Stryker HR model helping our managers help themselves committed to our Thrive model
  • Be the HR Representative of the Swedish and Norwegian Health and Safety Committee to drive collaboration and analyses of work environment issues and suggest possible proactive actions relevant of the legislated committees

What you will bring:

  • You have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • You have a deep knowledge and several years of work experience in the Nordic countries pension and insurance systems
  • Ideally you already have experience working in a complex matrix organization
  • Ideally you have knowledge of the Nordic statutory regulations and labour law
  • You are a very strong networker, able to build strong convincing relations with a strong drive and self-confidence
  • You are by nature a structured, influencing talent who is able work in a very demanding and hectic environment
  • You are a structured HR specialist who loves the details and takes own initiatives with a positive can-do mindset
  • You have a passion for HR topics and are an energetic and enthusiastic talent to succeed
  • You have preferably a University degree within HR or Business Administration and or equivalent work experience
  • You are fluently in English and Swedish, Finnish is a plus
