The Job's Mission

To develop partnerships with the UK management and employees to ensure accurate, reliable and on-time delivery HR Business facing support services, projects and administration needed in our changing and demanding business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HRBP’s by coaching leaders through HR challenges and facilitate effective and proactive decision-making in line with the Workplace Practices COE.
  • Act as UK Maternity expert  for all Maternity/Adoption/Shared Parental Leave
  • Drive and ensure excellence in key HR metrics: Turnover, Absence/Reliability, Engagement, Headcount Management and Employee Relations.
  • Be an ‘Employee Champion’ by ensuring that the employee’s ‘voice’ is heard and their interests are fairly represented.
  • Collaborate with the MYHR team, follow the key processes in place between teams and inform the MYHR team timely of any actions to be undertaken
  • Ensures HR policies and practices are compliant with UK statute employment legislation and  lead HR business process excellence and process improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for the UK Onboarding/Induction programme and it’s further development
  • Ensure HR systems have 100% data integrity (e.g. Oracle HRMS, HR spreadsheets, etc).
  • New starters’, Leavers and Changes coordination for areas not covered by MYHR as well as onboarding
  • Lead functional HR projects in regards to Great Place to Work design and submission, Gender Pay Gap preparation and reporting  and WTW facilitation and reporting annually
  • Annual Salary and HR policies review as well as Annual Job Descriptions audit
  • Maintenance of HR Connect site and HR Purchase Order processing
  • Provide relevant support to HR and Payroll including documentation / forms to HR Specialist to ensure smooth payroll process in compliance with UK regulations and SOX.
  • Disclosure Barring Service applications for sales force as and when required

Skills & Experience Required:

  • University degree within HR or Business Administration preferred but experience in a similar business facing role is more important. Masters Degree desirable but not essential
  • 6+ years experience of first line Employee Relation cases Inc. Grievance, Disciplinary, capability and minor misconduct.
  • Previous demonstrated experience interacting with COE's and business leaders.
  • Capable of autonomous decision making with leaders and/or HR sub functional team members on behalf of the site HRBP team.
  • Excellent customer service skills. Approachable and accessible and seeks to proactively meet customer’s needs.
  • Abiltity to adapt quickly and work in a very fast paced environment.
  • Computer literacy: Excel, Word, Power Point
