Job Description

Stryker's Sports Medicine business is one of the fastest growing businesses within Stryker, and we are looking to hire a graphic designer who develops and implements print and digital graphic designs and layouts as well as photography and videography to support our brand and business strategy and objectives.  This person will have the opportunity to influence the design of all marketing materials through a wide variety of projects and will be responsible for reviewing all elements of design to ensure maximum usability and alignment with the business's overall objectives and brand. Additionally, this person will analyze design, photography and videography trends to identify new techniques and ensure optimal output on projects.

  • Manage and produce all Sports Medicine marketing graphic design, photography and videography needs including, but not limited to: internal and external facing brochures, ads, email communications, social media, product guides, surgical technique videos, promotional videos and product photography.
  • Adhere to branding guidelines and act as visual brand leader for the business.
  • Maintain project files/images for all collateral projects.
  • Support digital and sales enablement strategy with design elements.
  • Work well with the Sports Medicine team and partner to come up with the best creative results achieved within budget.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts or related field.
  • 5+ years of Creative Agency or related field experience.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in design, web and multimedia software and applications including but not limited to Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, HTML, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of printing procedures, photography, illustration and verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and develop positive working relationships with others.
  • High degree of attention to detail and follow through.
  • Proactive, self-starter who takes ownership and drives initiatives.
