Job Description


Responsible for ensuring access to Stryker's portfolio of orthopedic products & MedSurg to Public Health Institutions. The person will support the of Agents and Distributors in the public market and for implementing the required actions necessary for the growth and continuity of the business, in accordance with Stryker's strategies and policies.

1 Analyze the opportunities of selling Medsurg and orthopedic products in the public health institutions of the country.

2. Identify distributors with access to the government to expand the reach of orthopedic products and MedSurg.

3. Responsible for advising, providing operational support and conducting the necessary negotiations with the indirect channels to ensure the continued growth of Stryker product lines.

4. Maintain constant communication with key users. Work with agents and distributors to meet theirs needs.

5. Provide surgeons medical education training aligned with the Stryker Marketing team.

6. Ensure the product description is update for the Stryker portfolio.

7. Align with sales team demonstrations / product training.

8. Build a base of price intelligence, based on historical processes.

Job Requirements

Academic qualifications / degree & relevant prior experience:
  • University degree required.
  • +3 years of Medical Devices experience
  • Experience in sales and / or marketing preferred.
  • Internal candidates with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time in Stryker will be considered.
  • Proven experience in relationship with Public Health Institutions.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes in Health Institutions and Bids
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with multifunctional teams
  • Deep understanding of the customer-focused buying and selling process.
  • Proven Sales performance
  • Understanding sales and marketing strategies to drive growth
  • Ability to organize teamwork and diverse divisions to meet the strategic goals and expectations of the account management program.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and co-workers.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely decisions.
  • Ability to develop tactical execution of the Main Accounts and Contracts program
