Position summary:

The role of government affairs and market access in Stryker Korea is to develop market access strategy so that Stryker business be align and/or grown in regulated market for the sustainable growth. And the role is proactively monitoring, predicting, influencing to Korean health authority and government in legislation, amendment, integration, repeal of health policy, regulation, etc. under National Health Insurance environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)

  • Build up professional and trustworthy relationships with government officials on all kinds of market access affairs and reimbursement pricing, ensure Stryker’s professional presence either in public or private sectors.
  • Being familiar with the regulatory dynamics and well predict policy trends, mitigated unfavorable impact and provide coaching for the team.
  • Use expertise to leverage influence of industry associations to public sectors.
  • Monitor to collect local policy informations and analysis when needed.
  • Provide local policy insights and analysis on pricing and reimbursement to business
  • Provide the necessary trainings to sales team to ensure busienss dynamics under regulated government policy
  • Collaborate with the business team and businses development team for developing business strategy as needed

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Medicine or Bioengineering or above is preferred.
  • Experiences of reimbursement pricing, nHTA, health economics of medical device or pharmaceutical at multinational company for more than 5 years
  • Closely working and liaisons with government or government related parties
  • Sales experience to handle reimbursement pricing issues will be plus
