The Role:

As Financial Controller, you will join the team Sydney, NSW! In this role, you will be responsible for the accuracy, reliability and integrity of the company’s results. It is your responsibility to ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of an effective system of internal controls and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and Stryker policies and procedures

What You Will Do:

As Financial Controller, you will:

  • Continue the development of a highly talented team
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial results to inform decision making
  • Implement robust, effective and continually improving financial controls
  • Ensure consistently high quality service delivered by outsourced service providers
  • Efficiently manage accounts and tax functions with unwavering compliance to laws and regulations  

What You Need:

  • Exceptionally high level of honesty, integrity, commitment and responsibility
  • Professional certification in accounting, CA, CPA or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in big four or combined experience with large/medium sized, fast paced multi-national companies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationships
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and a continuous improvement mindset
