Job Description

This position will support financial matters related to strategic initiatives across the end to end supply chain.   Partner with Finance and Functional Leaders providing proactive financial insight, sound analysis, and an objective perspective to ensure the organization’s best opportunities to meet its financial goals.  Support program governance by coordinating weekly meetings with key stakeholders, prepare material for leadership review and ensure follow-up actions are met. Track and report performance of programs on a quarterly and annual cadence.  Provide management visibility to project variances and recommend corrective actions.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and updates complex financial models.
  • Collaborates with key finance and business stakeholders across the SGS network.
  • Acts as liaison between Finance and operating areas for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Performs ad hoc financial and project-based analyses to support program leadership decision-making.
  • Provides input to Finance Leaders in support of the annual budget setting process and annual standard cost roll.
  • Supports leadership updates to SLT, GQO LT, and SGS LT as needed.
  • Coordinates quarterly evaluations to assess the connectedness of programs and financial budgets and projections.
  • Tracks the annual performance of each ICS project distinguishing between COGS to COGS and Operating Margin.
  • Ensures alignment between strategic initiatives and financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Responsible for all financial matters in support of the planning, execution and governance aspects of plant consolidations (including new facility construction and business dispositions) and on-going supply chain transfers.  Deliverables include Business Cases, CERs, project budgets, make-buy analyses, etc.
  • Responsible for creating, reporting and measuring performance against PNO Finance related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other network wide programs, e.g. Division Operations Plants that include savings, investments and resources.
  • Acts as the primary interface and accountability partner with Division Operations Leaders (DOLs) re: the Finance-related aspects of PNO activities.
  • Partners with DOLs and other Functional leaders (e.g., manufacturing and Sourcing) to develop the Business Cases required to influence PNO activities.
  • Responsible for developing and sharing best project management practices amongst/across the incumbent’s ICS, Inventory Optimization and Sourcing Optimization project leaders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.B.A. or B.S. with an emphasis in accounting
  • CPA or MBA equivalent

  • 7+ years related experience
  • Must be able to generate and explain detailed proposals, guidelines and procedures
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve complex accounting/finance issues of a broad scope using independent judgment
  • Must be able to routinely make decisions that affect immediate operations and may have a company wide effect
  • Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, an accounting report or system, etc.)
  • Must be able to influence a diverse body of constituents and business leaders
