Job Description

Our expansion technicians take responsibility for running their extrusion line to produce quality products efficiently. This includes equipment set-up, tooling inspections, product inspections, and process monitoring. They apply their training and experience to troubleshooting production processes. They work hand-in-hand with engineers and other technicians to meet design requirements of new product developments.

Due to the sensitivity of our products, we maintain tight tolerances. This requires dedicated team members who are able to think critically and find solutions to the challenges that arise due to those tolerances. Our team members put quality first in their work, always keeping in mind our goal of helping make patient’s lives better.

Candidates must be able to perform the following:

  • Understand and meet requirements of our quality system, including cGMP
  • Read and interperet engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Work independent of routine supervision
  • Ability to conduct basic arithmetic calculations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely; 75 lbs occasionally

Education, Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Four years minimum experience recommended
  • Demonstrated organizational and teamwork skills
  • Good manual dexterity and solid mechanical aptitude are required
  • Solid written, verbal and technical communication skills
