Event Coordination:


A. International Sales & Marketing Activities:


• Stryker organized activities:
o Meetings, symposia, congresses for HCP’s
§ E.g. Great Expectations, International Trauma Symposium, VOC, Advisory Board Meetings…
o Training courses for HCP’s
§ E.g. Innsbruck, Hannover, Exeter, Strasbourg, Selzach, Amsterdam, S2S…
o Internal Stryker trainings/meetings
§ E.g. support with flights, hotels, registrations…


• Third party organized activities:
o E.g. AAOS, OTA, SOFCOT, EFORT, ESSKA, OTC, AIOD…

B. Local Sales & Marketing Activities:


• National Stryker organised events & trainings
o E.g. product launch meetings, roadshows, educational courses, symposia…


• National TPEC’s with booth presence
o E.g. Operative Days…


• Internal meetings
o E.g. Annual Nordic Sales Meeting…

Tasks may include but are not limited to:
  • Create and follow checklists for relevant processes to ensure control and minimize the risk of error.
  • Create, maintain and archive structured and consistent formats for events, participant information, budgets and expense follow-up etc. to ensure control and minimize the risk of error.

• Contribute to long-term event planning together with the PMs and Nordic Franchise leads.

• If needed, schedule weekly/bi-weekly/monthly meetings e.g. with the PM’s, to walk through upcoming events and submission deadlines to ensure prompt action where necessary.

• Support in creating and communicating an annual events calendar containing upcoming event dates (mainly for external HCP education, but also internally including congresses/meetings and training activities etc.).
  • Ensure all activities meet local industry and Stryker compliance guidelines and that approval is obtained from Compliance/Legal prior to commitment.
  • Work with compliance and local marketing in the coordination and booking of travel and lodging arrangements in connection with approved external courses, meetings and other AP activities.
  • Ensure that all expenses are budgeted for, booked on the correct project code and followed-up on to keep track of savings or over-spending. See to that we do not commit to any expenses that have not been budgeted for. Also, ensure that we act in good time to keep cost at a minimum.
  • Create Purchase Orders for all Marketing related activities and expenses in Scandinavia, ensuring accurate registration of expenses (e.g. correct cost centre and natural account).
  • Ensure and coordinate invoicing of applicable delegate fees in connection with external courses and meetings.
  • Arrange for leads forms (in paper format or via app) to be used for all relevant TPEC’s. Consolidate and distribute after the meeting for Sales team(s) to take action.
  • Coordinate Nordic Sales Meeting and other internal activities, ensuring that logistics run smoothly.
  • Investigate possibilities to extend the use of Apsis platform not only internally but also for external communication.
  • Support in coordination of Scandinavian HCP’s consulting agreements.

Job Requirements


Experience from similar work in Event Coordination including Travel planning
  • University degree, probably in Law, Business Administration or Economics.
  • High developed skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Compliance (training provided by Stryker).
  • FCPA (training provided by Stryker).
