Job Description

The Senior European Marketing Manager, Knees is responsible for planning, execution and tracking of the marketing strategy by leading the knee product management team .

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creation, alignment and execution of the local marketing plans, which should be closely aligned to the EMEA marketing plans

Enable, educate, influence, and align the marketing team to local marketing strategy and define, track and communicate on key performance indicators

Manage talent, alignment and effectiveness within the team

Key Activities

•Lead the research, launch, or reposition activities around products to maximize sales and growth using 4P’s and Big Picture methodology•Sets strategy for continual growth through internal and external education strategies, customer engagement campaigns and creation/execution of Annual Marketing Plan with focus on tactics following marketing objective/source of volume•Lead key initiatives to drive skill levels, efficiency, process excellence and communication among the sales/marketing organization.•Drives development of excellent education and customer engagement tools, programs, etc.•Partner with Brand Management, SalesEd and MedEd teams to ensure executional excellence and communication•Lead new product launches to develop and execute high impact launches•Liaise with Sales Leadership on Country/Regional level to ensure alignment in planning & execution•Provide analysis of business performance and key performance indicators•Lead and Mentor team of Product Managers (and/or others),  as well as  provide or ensure continuous training and development of the team•Act as a role model for global organizational, social and moral values•

Qualifications/ Tenure: 

•10 years +  of marketing experience of which a significant portion is within Pharma/ med-tech industry.•    Bachelors degree in Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Life Science or relevant field (Masters or MBA highly desirable) •    Excellent communication and presentation skills.


•    Proven track record in managing large, geographically disperse teams. •    Proven successful track record in leading marketing projects incl. marketing plans, product launches and campaigns within healthcare industry.•    Extensive knowledge of product management processes, planning and execution•    Demonstrated leadership in innovating in the field of processes, marketing activities and marketing excellence•    Strong track record as leader of cross-functional projects
