What You Will Do

The Product Inspector (Loaner Technician I) processes surgical sets to fulfill daily set orders and assists with other responsibilities held by Stryker’s Loaner Operations team.

  • Responsible for performing visual inspection, reconciliation, and replenishment of spinal surgical sets.
  • Unloads daily shipments of incoming surgical sets and help with precautionary cleaning/decontamination.
  • Develops an understanding of all Stryker spinal product offerings through the repetition of inspecting and inventorying incoming loaner surgical sets.
  • Performs initial visual quality checks on implants and instrumentation.
  • Clean any debris from instrumentation that was missed during original sterilization/decontamination process, ensuring all medical devices are surgery ready.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & experience required:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be available for a Monday through Friday, 12:00pm to 9:00pm shift with availability for quarterly rotational on call and possible weekend/overtime in response to business needs.
  • Must be detail oriented and work with both speed and efficiency
  • Possess good organizational skills
  • Goal oriented
  • Ability to perform essential duties in accordance with FDA standards
  • Must be a self-starter who likes to work independently, but is also a team player
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite

Physical & mental requirements:

  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and understand detailed work instructions and Good Manufacturing Processes 
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills       
  • Able to learn and work with new computer programs
