We seek a highly engaged, detail oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team located in Lakeland, FL. This role will require someone that possesses the ability to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute to the effectiveness of the organization.


What you will do:

You will be responsible for the analysis and resolution of production issues through detailed root cause investigations driving collaboration with operations, engineering and supplier quality engineering teams. You will perform monitoring of process data and analysis of trends, coming up with solutions to improve customer satisfaction via product quality. You must exhibit a commitment to quality first culture, compliance and continuous improvement through the implementation of projects which optimize production, inspection, and quality system processes.


In addition, you will work in a cross functional environment. There will be consistent interaction with the Post Market team to investigate customer complaints that relate to the manufacturing process. You will work with operations and manufacturing engineering teams to drive process improvements, conduct investigations related to identified nonconformances, and sustain production.  Additionally, you will work with advanced operations and advanced quality on new product development activities, implementing Quality requirements to mitigate potential process risks.  You should be able to analyze root cause of production issues and coordinate with release product engineering, regulatory & manufacturing engineering to conduct risk analysis of any nonconformances found.  You will handle containment for product related issues and drive the NC/CAPA process when escalation is needed. Being part of a quality team, you will gain the critical exposure to both internal and external audits representing your areas of the business.


What you need:

  • B.S. in engineering, or related discipline
  • 1+ years related experience
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong Quality Assurance and Quality Systems knowledge and understanding (QSR, ISO 13485)
  • Proven problem-solving skills with strong knowledge of root cause investigation techniques
  • Possesses ability to generate and explain detailed proposals, guidelines, and procedures for the QA functions to departmental and/or non-departmental personnel
  • Must be able to generate, follow and explain detailed quality requirements and inspection procedures
