Job Description

The EMEA Marketing Director is responsible and accountable for growing and driving share gains for the Stryker Neurovascular EMEA business. The Marketing Director will lead efforts to define and market complete solutions for customers and patients with brain aneurysms and acute ischemic stroke (AIS).

Key responsibilities :
  • As a key member of the NV EMEA Leadership team, providing input into strategy setting and execution, as well as key operational décisions.
  • Develop deep relationships with Key Opinion Leaders that influence the adoption of Stryker’s life-saving technologies.
  • Build strong relationships with country managers and collaborate to deliver short-, mid- and long- term revenue growth expectations.
  • Lead Downstream Product Management team for Coils, Access, AIS products and Hemorrhagic New Technologies.
  • Lead definition and execution of Market Development programs.
  • Lead program development efforts to: 1) develop messaging and talk tracks for Sales teams 2) translate product features. benefits and value into product usage by customers.
  • Lead New Technology team responsible for driving the introduction and adoption of innovative technologies.
  • Develop commercialization pathway from New Technology Team to Country organization
  • Build collaborative relationships with Global functions and advocate the regional EMEA perspective in upstream and cross-functional efforts
  • Manage commercialization process for new products from pre-launch planning, to PPE, and eventually to full country self-sufficiency
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements

Job Requirements

10+ years of combined medical device sales and marketing experience with demonstrated track record of managing hyper-growth market opportunities. Demonstrated experience or aptitude in serving as key member of a regional management team. Strong sales, marketing, and leadership skills are essential to continue to drive the neurovascular business on trajectory of strong growth. Cross cultural-awareness and capability to operate in matrix environment are key.

Key qualifications include:
  • Significant sales and/or marketing experience, including 3-5 years in international role (regional, cluster)
  • 3+ year of people leadership and management experience
  • 2+ years of training/education experience is optional but preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading and influencing in a global matrix organization
Demonstrated success in leading global teams from concept design through product launch would be a plus
