Job Description

The EHS Analytics Technical Lead focuses on the day-to-day management of the systems that support environmental health and safety of Stryker employees. This role involves data management and analysis using various tools including Power BI and SharePoint forms. This includes understanding how systems and data are currently architected, to support user queries and team needs, and the ability to improve the functionality and efficiency of the systems in support of evolving needs. In the near term, the role will focus on Stryker’s Covid 19 response. Other responsibilities:

  • Scope of role includes the globally-used systems and data to support the incident response (IRT) process, COVID Index dashboard, SafeRamp site phase requests and the field Health Assessment application.
  • Drive business intelligence by reviewing large sets of data and translating them into easy to understand information for leaders.
  • Manipulate external and internal data sets so they can be used in dashboards for business intelligence.
  • Program custom PowerBI dashboards and evolve current tools as the business needs.
  • Develop and publish reporting that supports EHS initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the Confluence knowledge base content.
  • Establish and manage a change request process, in partnership with team members and Project Management. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Data Analysis or Management, or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience.
  • Problem solver with creative approach to proactive identification and resolution of issues. 
  • Ideal candidate will have a natural tendency towards curiosity with strong programmer and analyst skills.
  • Have experience in managing large data sets from various systems to meet the expectations of the role.
  • User-interface to users of systems.
  • Excellent relationship, communication (verbal and written) and presentation. skills 
  • Demonstrated tolerance for and success operating in a context of ongoing change 
  • Demonstrated success in interpreting analysis to identify issues and reach conclusions 
  • Skilled in PowerBI, Excel, SharePoint and database management concepts 
  • Organization of self in a fast paced, changing environment 
  • Process orientation inclusive of experience with process documentation
