Join us as an Education Manager in our Acute Care Division, and help us improve EMEA healthcare.

Location: Amsterdam with 70% travel (EMEA)


In alignment with our brand/education strategy, the Education Manager builds and delivers our internal and/or external learning strategy and training curriculum and evaluates education programme effectiveness for the Acute Care Hospital business for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Brand Managers and Sales leaders; develop and execute an education plan that is aligned with central European strategy.

Research best-in-class learning trends and evaluate and continuously improve the learning experience.

Key Activities

  • Develop, continuously update and execute internal education programs such as internal courses, online educational platform tools, online courses, etc. and/or external education programs such as symposiums, nurses and HCP courses etc.
  • Develop new customer engagement programs and events supporting our strategic goals and marketing objectives
  • Develop and deploy digital tools to facilitate learning
  • Development and updating of sales training material and curriculum
  • Develop, schedule and communicate  a calendar of internal and external education events.
  • Document and store internal training participant list for audit purposes.
  • Partner with surgeon KOLs to ensure high quality faculty at internal and external education activities.
  • Audit selling capability and knowledge base of sales channels, at all levels within the company. Build a plan to close the gaps identified
  • Allocate and manage the education budget in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure that educational activities across EMEA markets are coordinated and cohesive, helping to drive agreed goals and strategies.
  • May have responsibility for clinical research in collaboration with Brand Management


  • Have 7-10 years of proven experience in a Sales or Sales training or Sales training co-ordinator and/or Clinical Education Manager role
  • Have 5 plus years training experience within the Pharma/Med-tech industry.
  • Hold a BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or a relevant field.
  • Have experienced knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques.
  • Understand sales process, preferably within a relevant medical business.
  • Have excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills in English .
  • Additional certification in training is a plus.
  • Are fluent in English (a 2nd language, preferably German or French; is a plus)
