Job Description

Processes orders from field sales team or distributor contacts.  Tracks PO's for distribution orders.  May coordinate with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders.

This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines. This job typically requires a minimum of 2 or more years experience.

Interacts with supply chain analysts, sales and/or service representatives, third party distributors, and customer-owned warehouses to handle a variety of functions.

  • Receives and processes distributor inventory requests and product transfers.
  • Updates databases for new account and new product setup, pricing, and coding.
  • Prepares documents related to processing returns (RGA).
  • Tracks and reports the status of sales orders and delivery schedules.
