Job Description

Stryker Neurovascular is focused on advancing the practice of less-invasive stroke therapies through our Complete Stroke Care™ solutions. Stryker is dedicated to providing innovative stroke products and services for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, and committed to providing clinical education and support to help physicians deliver better patient outcomes. Our products include: Stentriever®,detachable coils, stents, balloons, guidewires and microcatheters.

The successful candidate will be responsible to lead the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic sales, business management and information systems initiatives to optimize North American Neurovascular Region business results and profitability. Responsibilities include assisting in the management of field sales planning, performance analysis, pricing strategy, customer service, commercial information technology, sales force incentive compensation, recognition programs and business analytics of key leading indicators and measurements based on business objectives.

Job Requirements

13+ years of experience leading multiple functions in a medical device environment to include revenue management, strategy and planning, operations, Information Technology (IT) and Analytics, etc. Strong commercial and leadership skills are essential to growing the neurovascular market and driving share growth for Stryker Neurovascular in North America

Key qualifications include:
  • 13+ years in medical device or closely related industry. Global experience a plus.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making ability; Ability to prioritize; Proactively assesses impact and implications of actions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong business acumen and comprehensive understanding of commercial processes; Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive effective commercial strategies
  • Strong collaboration skills; Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong performance management and people development skills
  • Previous experience in creating and implementing annual budgets and forecasts
  • Bachelor degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of demonstrated successful healthcare sales experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of previous management experience (preferred)
