  • Defines and executes marketing strategy to achieve divisional revenue goals within allocated budget.
  • Develops and recommends strategic plans and initiatives to gain greater market share, improved revenue and increased penetration.
  • Parnters with finance to own the strategic plan and process
  • Strong partnership with cross-functional NPD team and makes decisions on direction for future development in current and adjacent markets as well as transformative BD opportunities
  • Evaluates market results to ensure appropriate strategies to advise and modify marketing plans.
  • Assess potential markets to provide insight and input into new product development projects, M&A and diverstitures decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective partnership targets and investment partners.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the healthcare market including industry trends and emerging areas of opportunity.
  • Develop robust business cases to inform and direct decision making. Analysis will include market assessments, commercial strategies, and financial analyses.
  • Conduct due diligence to drive and support decision making by working with Stryker professionals across divisions and functional areas.
  • Will lead efforts to generate required documents (ex: Capital Expenditure Requests, Indication of Interest letters, Asset Purchase Agreements, and Stock Purchase Agreements).  This includes coordinating all required Legal, Tax and Finance input, as well as other functional inputs as needed.
  • Research and perform in-depth market analyses to identify the most attractive sectors for Company expansion.
  • Develops strategies and value propositions that create consumer engagement and loyalty.
  • Provides advice and counsel to senior business leaders about strategic opportunities to grow brands and financial results.
  • Monitors sales and marketing trends and makes recommendations for NPD, enhancing market penetration and share growth.
  • Partners with downstream leader to develop commercialization plans and launch strategy
  • Leads cross-functional launch teams to successfully introduce new products into the market, developing innovative marketing plans including positioning and messaging, segmentation, pricing, account targeting, promotion, and field and customer education.
  • Collaborates with customers, marketing intelligence and third-party sources to monitor, understand and respond to competitive product performance, branding, messaging, and tactics.
